On May 31, 2016, Siebert Cisneros Shank was invited act as a co-manager on Pfizer’s $5 billion, 5-part debt offering of senior unsecured notes. The use of proceeds was specified for general corporate purposes, which could include repayment of the company’s outstanding commercial paper. Throughout the course of the day, spreads tightened by at least 5 basis points on all tranches, with the 10-year and 30-year notes tightening by as much as 15 basis points. The transaction settled on June 3, 2016. The total book size was over $11 billion.
